Hello, I’m Joaquín Franco, a passionate leather craftsman with over 20 years of experience in the art of leatherwork. I was born and raised in Ubrique, a town with a leatherwork soul, where the artisan tradition permeates every corner.

For many years I worked for major brands in the industry, learning the trade with patience and dedication. But there was something inside me that called for a different path. I wanted to return to the essentials: to handmade work, unhurried, with attention to every detail, and with my heart invested in each piece.

This is how my personal project was born, a way to return to my roots and pay homage to traditional craftsmanship. Everything you see in this shop is made by me, from the first cut of leather to the last stitch. There’s no mass production or industrial processes: just my hands, my workshop, and a great deal of passion.

In our workshop, each creation is made by hand from start to finish, without industrial processes or mass production. We work calmly, carefully selecting materials and taking care of every detail of the process. Therefore, no two pieces are alike. Each strap, each wallet, has its own essence, its own story, and reflects the love with which it was crafted.

Marjofra’s philosophy is clear: less quantity, more soul. We move away from large-scale productions to focus on authenticity, on what’s made with heart. We believe in the value of craftsmanship, in the connection between the artisan and the piece, and in the special bond that develops when someone chooses to wear something made with dedication and respect for tradition.

We don’t know for sure what the future holds, but what we do know is that we put our best into every item that leaves our workshop. We hope one of our pieces will be with you for many years to come.
